Jack Sells began working in the search industry in 1993 as part of Management Recruiters International/Sales Consultants of Brentwood, TN. A world wide search and staffing organization that included over 700 locations. He went through 3 weeks of training at the prestigious MRI University, regarded as the industry gold standard in executive recruiting. During this time he developed a nationwide reputation as being one of the top billers in medical and pharmaceutical sales recruiting. He earned honors as the TAPS rookie of the year in 1993, Taps #1 recruiter in 1994, 1995 and 1996. TAPS “Top of the Top” in 1994 and 1996. He was also AE of the year 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 at Sales Consultant of Brentwood, TN.
In July of 1997 he purchased the MRI/SC Franchise from then owner Andrew B. Foster. He continued to produce as TAPS #1 sales recruiter in 1997 and 1998. His search firm was recognized as Tennessee’s #1 sales recruiting firms in 1997 and 1998. Jack was now ranked in the top 10 billers nationally.
In 1999, as his knowledge, experience and success grew, he eventually broke away to establish Sales Search America as an independently owned search firm. As his client list grew this gave him flexibility to conduct split business and service his clients on a national basis.
At Sales Search America, Jack has continued to grow his business. He has hired and employed two TAPS “rookie of the year” in 1998 and 2000. He has continued to be the #1 TAPS sales recruiter 1999 to Present. He has become ranked top 1% billers nationwide. Sales Search America has grown to a team of five executive recruiters, two research assistants with over a million dollars of billings annually.
